Dr. Caity Davis

PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Dr. Caitlyn Davis, who goes by Caity, earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Prior to pursuing her graduate studies, she received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Disability and Human Development from Stony Brook University.

During her time at NYIT, Caity demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence, graduating with high honors and earning recognition as a member of the Alpha Eta Honor Society. She also served as a teaching assistant in Anatomy, where she enjoyed sharing her knowledge and helping fellow students develop a deeper understanding of the human body. Throughout her education, she participated in research involving Parkinson’s Disease and vestibular rehabilitation, further developing her interest in neurological conditions and their impact on movement, balance, and quality of life.

Caity’s connection to the clinic began during her doctoral studies, when she had the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Susan Thomas as her first student. This experience helped foster her passion for treating individuals with Parkinson’s Disease and inspired her continued interest in neurological rehabilitation.

In addition to her neurological background, Caity has experience in outpatient orthopedics, treating individuals with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Her clinical experience includes helping patients recover from orthopedic surgeries, return to sports and recreational activities, and address women’s health concerns. This diverse background allows her to take a well-rounded, individualized approach to patient care.

Caity is especially passionate about working with individuals with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological conditions. She believes physical therapy is about more than improving strength, balance, and mobility; it’s about helping people regain confidence, maintain their independence, and continue participating in the activities that bring them joy. She strives to create a positive, encouraging environment where patients feel empowered to challenge themselves, embrace an active lifestyle, and reach their fullest potential.

Outside of the clinic, Caity enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She loves expressing her creative side through various arts and crafts projects and spending time outdoors, especially near the water. One of her favorite ways to enjoy a beautiful day is paddleboarding!
